Kaun Pravin Tambe Movie Review: — The untold story everyone needs to know
You don’t have to be a legend to inspire others. Sometimes all you need is a true, honest, and consistent attempt. Pravin Tambe is a 40-year-old struggling cricketer who was never given the chance to show his talent and whose career appears to be over even before it begins. But his sincere commitment to his life’s passion, Cricket, is his one ray of hope. When everything appears to be over, life throws him a super over. The Wall, Rahul Dravid, recognizes his ability and places him in the Rajasthan Royals’ playing eleven for the world’s most amazing franchise cricket competition, the IPL.
Some unseen stories are far more powerful than those we are familiar with. Because of cricket, certain people have become legends. Cricket is a legend because of personalities like them who are devoted to the game. Such is the narrative of Pravin Tambe, who, despite the odds, achieves his aim at the last stage of his career through pure determination and hard effort. Actually, it is inaccurate, because cricketers are thought to retire at the age of 40, yet this player reached new heights at the age of 41.
Persistence is a concept that is easier to talk about than to put into practice.
I really liked how the suffering Pravin Tambe’s feelings were conveyed. Almost makes us want to scream “not again!!!” at his mishaps and failures despite his perseverance. Another great aspect of the film is that, unlike many biopics these days, it does not feature any form of apology for the traumas and disasters that the protagonist has to endure.
