With such a strong message being portrayed by the director (Tushar Hiranandani),this film will surely indulge you to the world of prakashi and chandro tomar life. I think these two ladies stand as the pillars for feminism. Believe me or not after you watch the film you will be intrigued to know more about these women. This film talks about the challenges that the women had to face in the male dominated society and hats off to both of them how well did they overcome the situation. The screenplay of the movie is tight till the very first half. In the second half it drags a bit, but still it doesn’t make you feel boredom. I think the credit should be given to the writing team for providing us with such impactful dialogues. In some of the scenes it literally gave me goosebumps and made me feel for those women. Tapsee Pannu has once again proved why she is considered one of the most vulnerable actor, with her performance. Bhumi Pedhnekar did a fine work, but in some of the scenes she was being flat in front of tapsee. But especially I want to mention the performance that is delivered by Prakash Jha. He epitomizes the mentality of the men in the village. He is damn good with his work.

Talking about the technicalities, the film lacks in various departments, first and foremost is the editing. Nonlinear kind of editing is being done, but the film could have been easily chopped off for at least 20 minutes. Secondly the makeup and the prosthetics that are used in the film are so fake that you can easily figure it out.
Out and out, it's a must watch for each and every citizen of our country. The film hits the right mark with a strong subject being portrayed which is "WOMEN EMPOWERMENT".
