My words are trembling today to write an obituary for Irrfan Khan. Because his world of acting started from the point where words end. An uncanny silence has surrounded my heart with the loss of an artist par excellence. An actor who could pull off characters ranging from Paan Singh Tomar to Monty in Life in a Metro, to Champak Bansal in English Medium with such an airy effortlessness, how words can do justice to him. But all I know that every person who is passionate for cinema has cried today, have felt a strange vacuum in his/her heart. That's the power of ARTS! When an artist dies, a world dies with him.

His dialogues from the character, Monty in Life in a Metro, are reverberating in my mind :
